Panji is an accomplished postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven, Belgium. With a PhD in Environmental Microbiology from The University of Groningen - The Netherlands, Panji has established a solid foundation in the field of microbiome and metagenomics. Prior to his doctoral studies, completed his M.Sc with distinction from Erasmus Mundus Master’s Program across the UK, Portugal, and Spain.

Panji's academic excellence has been recognized through various research grants and his publication record in high-impact Q1 journals specializing in microbiology. Demonstrating his passion for education, Panji has successfully supervised the thesis dissertations of numerous graduate and undergraduate students. Additionally, he imparts his knowledge by teaching microbial ecology and bioinformatics modules at the university.

Through his interdisciplinary scientific work, Panji operates at the crossroads of molecular microbiology, bioinformatics, data science, and biostatistics. This unique blend of expertise has honed his proficiency in handling complex data, fostering analytical thinking, and devising innovative solutions for management consulting projects at The Krinsky Company.

Based in the vibrant city of Antwerp, Belgium, Panji thrives in a dynamic work environment. Beyond his professional pursuits, he indulges in dining out, badminton, and exploring new destinations.
