Macey Dowd
NEW YORK CITY | VASSAR COLLEGE 2025 | COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY MPH 2026
Macey is a dual-degree student pursuing a BA in Sociology and Hispanic Studies from Vassar College and a Master of Public Health in Health Management and Policy from Columbia University.
She brings a cross-disciplinary background in sociology, public health, and clinical strategy to the TKC team, with experience across both the U.S. and international settings. Her work has included maternal health research at Cleveland Clinic, grant-funded program development at a women’s shelter in Thailand, midwifery support at a community health clinic in Peru, and asthma education programming for children through the American Lung Association.
Her focus lies at the intersection of health innovation and social justice, and she is particularly passionate about how innovative approaches - both technological and systemic - can improve healthcare responses to sexual assault, domestic violence, and access to comprehensive reproductive care.
Originally from the Bay Area and a former college tennis player, Macey enjoys yoga, hiking, rock climbing, and poetry outside of work. Her ideal day includes catching a sunset, browsing a local bookstore, and ending the night with live music.
