Jillian graduated from Vassar College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a strong interest in public health. Throughout her undergraduate years, she worked as a research assistant in microbial ecology, conducting field surveys and laboratory observations on amphibians - which sparked her love of frogs. In her free time, Jillian enjoyed participating in meaningful advocacy work that included a student-founded organization that raised awareness and provided education on the issue of human trafficking and a non-profit dedicated to the sustainable development of education, healthcare, and climate preservation in rural Haiti. Following graduation, she worked as a systems genetics research associate at NYU Langone for two years.

She is currently pursuing her Master’s of Public Health in Healthcare Management at Yale University and holds a particular interest in work relating to addressing health disparities.

Jillian currently resides in Brooklyn, New York, where she can be found attending as many concerts as possible. She is an avid traveler and considers Copenhagen, Denmark her second home. In her free time she enjoys curating playlists, playing video/board games, as well as pointing out every dog she passes on the street.
